General information about rosacea:Rosacea is a skin condition that causes a permanent red face, especially on the cheeks, nose and forehead. Initially, rosacea becomes noticeable through a reddening of the face, which does not go away completely. The initial reddening of the skin intensifies and reduces from time to time, but progresses more and more to a permanent facial reddening, which resembles an inflammation (such as sunburn) in the advanced stage. In addition, the skin begins to itch, up to unpleasant pain. Rosacea often begins with a tendency for the skin to suddenly become red and progresses to a permanent red face in the center of the face, i.e. the cheeks, forehead, chin and nose.
